Don’t know if it’s any help to you, den7602, but Netflix now has Deadliest Catch on their queue–all seven seasons, including After the Catch; so not sure if UK Netflix has it too. Also, I ordered the Crabby Boat because I wanted it, but being an adult, I just admired it for six months and sent it to my nephew for Christmas. It was a hit and very well crafted as well. Just to commiserate, I’m constantly disappointed that I can’t get anything from the UK here in the US. Sometimes a show might be on YouTube, but UK sources won’t even let you pay for access. Bummer. To-date, there’s no boat, captain or crew that meets or exceeds my admiration for Sig and the Northwestern!

These guys are so nice I had a email from Edgar and also one of the brothers from the Maverick all because I am 29 and watch D.C when I am sick and in pain from all the tests I just watch the guys and think if they can push through all of that so can I and you all give me motivation.
Right now I am in my 3rd month and 2 weeks of staying in hospital waiting for my third liver transplant and I am away from home and alone so my family brought my my D.C to watch when I am.
I wish I could get to meet you all one time which I hope to do after the operation that is if it goes well (third time a charm lol) and go to a convention or something that has you guys in it.

Please tell Matt and Jake they can push through the dark moments and there is so many of us behind you boys ready to listen to your worries and also pick you up if you fall down.

The main thing I can offer you in what I have learned with this disease is its not about how many times you fall down its how many times you GET BACK UP AGAIN AND FIGHT AGAIN!

we dont get to see any of the spinoffs here in the uk, not even “after the catch” come on sig sort out the discovery channel for us and get it more over here as we didnt even know about the disney cars thing until found this website, al our episodes are also mixed up and never know what season we are on from day to day!

I just sat and watched all the shows one after the
other over a two week period. Great show. Capt. Phil was my favorite but Edgar
was the most down to earth person out of all of them. He played the game with
his crew mates but also showed compassion and a loving side of himself. This is
a crazy mixed up world but knowing there are people like Edgar living in it
makes me feel good inside. I know Edgar isn’t a perfect person and I don’t know
him personally but a person shows certain things in the briefest moments which tell
the story.

How is Brother Edgar doing?- Is he coming aboard next season? is the current Engineer holding his own? Haven’t been in touch with whats going on lately- But reminds me of my brother and I (15 yrs older (im 49) He is a hall of fame boxing trainer living in Ft Myers, FL. I was assisting with the amateur training at our gym for three years, then married my GF and moved back to IN. He says no one steady to assist- tiring for him… Looking forward to getting back sometime. Its nice when Brothers can work well together!

Season 7 was one Hell of a rough & hard season on everyone,even the people out here watching the Deadliest Catch.There are some of us that really can feel the intense pain,anquish,Anger,stressed-out type of feeling as all of you have.Although,we may not be there,but we certainly relate to what each of you have to go through.As I have every Season I’ve watched,including some pilots before the Series began back in 2002 was the first one.I also, experienced some of what all of you go through some 26yrs. ago while i did myself 4- seasons on a Trawler out in the Gulf OF Mexico.I do know it doesn’t ice over as the Breing Sea does,but we do still have Hurricanes,high winds,20 to 40 foot waves,water spoutscome-up without a warning,& during the winter time we do get some ice but thin ice at that.I know these things.I’ve went out on the water here,during our Christmas Boat Parades in Kemah,Texas.This is done going by The Kemah Boardwalk.So,I do know some what,what all of you Guys of the whole Fleet have to go through.I really do Give A Dam about each of you,althoughI’ve never seen really any of you show me the kind of Respect as
I’ve shone all of you all of these 7 Seasons.I’m not including our Capt.Phil Harris in on this at all,he did show me Caring,Respect & I can say some Love as well while he was still with us.
I just needed for All Of You Guys to know,there is still something there for all of you.Something simliar to like Brothers,Cousins<&Sons.So,this is what I summed up for Season 7 of Deadliest Catch.God Bless All Of You & Your Families.I've said alot of Prayers for all of you as all of you go through King & Opilio Crab Seasons year after year.I also ponder the fact is that all of you really don't see in me as I see in all of your Personalities.Just Please!! get in touch with me some way before going out for King Crab Season.I left every

These guys make me laugh. Leave it to Sig to find this guy, who says he wants to be the next greenhorn but can’t swim a lick. Did you know that SIG CAN’T SWIM EITHER? But I have to admit that I DO miss CAPT. PHIL HARRIS, now there was someone that ALWAYS made you laugh. Sometimes I think I hear him laughing. LOL, very nice…I’m sure you have all heard it b4 but what a great life…easy to say I guess from looking in…but still there is nothing better than busting your ass for a few months and then being done for the year if you so choose…while I was a Marine I had those kinds of experiences..only not the money part…lol…we would be up and marching b4 5 am and get done in one morning more than most will in a week…but the feeling of being invincible was incredible…you guys rock and the show needs to be on all year long…can’t you fish for something else after crabs??? lol…keep up the great tv…and RIP Phil Harris…Larry D

wow, lots of youngsters wanting jobws to prove they can do it. I'm not one of them , i'm a grown man working 12-16 hours a day on my feet as a chef for garbage wages, i need a job to pay my bills and take care of my family. I dont need to prove nothing to anyone, been there dsone that , i can only promise you as a man that i will do the job all season with no bitching that im assigned to and give you 110% as i have in everything i do. thank you , J salisbury (904-304-6820)

Hi Captian Sig,
Has anyone asked you why there are no women on your crew? If not, don't worry, I'm not going to be the first. I already know the answere to that. Ha! Having served in the U.S. Army as a Chemical Warfare Spec. and later working for Trident in one of the fishing plants – of which I'll never do again. There are some jobs that men and women can do well together and then there are other situations where the women need to recognize their limitations. The bearing sea and crabbing is truly no place for women – not even if they think they are made of rock. Some jobs such as crabbing are truly best left to the men. So, with that said, here's me saluting my heros on the Northwestern. Keep up the great work and stay safe.

I've been following the Northwestern on Deadliest Catch with keen interest for sometime. You never fail to impress me with your professionalism as a captain. By the looks of the Northwestern, it looks as though you take great pride in your boat. It shines brighter than all the other which look a little run down in comparison but after reading your story about your dad building the Northwestern, it is no wonder you take such pride in it. Your crew is great as well. It's clear they respect you and will go the extra mile for you as their captain. I also saw you and some of your crew on Cash Cab – Great job on that too by the way – some of those questions are pretty far out in left field but you mastered that as well. I also want to add that my 4-year-old daughter wants to be a fisherperson on your boat. I told her some jobs are better left to the men and crabbing is one of them – she's not convinced – Ha!. Keep of the good fight and know we are applauding you and your crew here in Walla Walla, WA. May you see no red skies in the morning – May you have smooth sailing and great crabbing seasons – ALWAYS.

Cig how ya doing, im a 19 year old blue crabber from charleston, SC. im a third generation fisherman and i love crabbing,, hell my first two words were two bait, but alaskan king crab is my dream. I know im the perfect man for the job, im an old southern boy who's been brought up to work, ive been working ever since i was old enough to grade a crab, now some of these boys ive seen yall hire on tv never has seen a crab in there life and dont know the meaning of work. i know i can make it on the boat, and be the hardest worker out there. i wake up 5 o'clock everyday to be on the river, then to go manage a store from 2pm to 1am in the morning to wake up and do it all over again at 5. thats my life but i love it, i love to work. now i would love to work for your boat, your the best captain out there, and in my eyes you can find the crab. now cig i would love to try to get on your boat and learn the ropes of an alaskan king fisherman. if you need extra help im the man for the job
