Deadliest Catch: Season 1 DVD Set

Forty-foot waves, freezing temperatures and a nearly 100-percent injury rate. Crab fishing off the Alaskan coast on the icy Bering Sea is one of the world's most dangerous jobs. But it's also one of the most lucrative, offering tens of thousands of dollars for a few days' work. Follow one group of ambitious men as they battle harsh conditions and intense competition in the frenzied search for an undersea jackpot.

Ep. 1 – Greenhorns
Fifteen hundred fishermen converge on Dutch Harbor, Alaska for the beginning of the Alaskan king crab season. Each man is here to stake his claim on the estimated 14,267,000 pounds of crab and the chance to earn a year's wages in just one week.

Ep. 2 – Long Sleepless Nights
After a long night of baiting and setting crab pots, the fishermen anxiously await the captain's call to begin fishing. The first pot pulled of the season sets the mood. The early losers agonize over strategy, hoping to make up for a lost catch.

Ep. 3 – Lady Luck
It's hour 42 of the season, and every captain feels the pressure. The Alaskan Department of Fish and Game announces an early closure to the season, meaning each boat has just 24 hours to get their pots out of the water.

Ep. 4 – Beat the Clock
With less than half a day left in the Alaskan king crab season, the crews race the clock to get as much crab as they can. When the rush to unload begins, minutes can mean the difference between unloading immediately and waiting in the harbor for days.

Ep. 5 – Dead of Winter
It's the dead of winter in Dutch Harbor, where the days are a mere six hours long. With king crab season winding down and the Opilio crab frenzy about to begin, the remaining 171 boats quickly head for the next prize.

Ep. 6 – Man Overboard
The 2005 Opilio crab season doesn't start – it stumbles. The Big Valley sinks, and "good samaritan" boats help search for survivors in the frigid sea. As the rest of the fleet resumes fishing, tragedy strikes again.

Ep. 7 – High Hopes
It's been a little over 12 hours since the Opilio crab season opened, and the Bering Sea has already claimed six lives. Despite these losses, the men stay upbeat as they begin to pull in their pots. For the first time this season, the seas are calm.

Ep. 8 – Good Fishing
Unseasonably warm weather and calm seas contribute to crab totals for the fleet. Capt. Sig Hansen and his crew land on the crab early and crank through their gear, filling two of the boat's three holds.

Ep. 9 – The Clock's Ticking
The hunt for crab intensifies as the season winds down. Rumors of a possible closure prompt the men to push even harder. Frustrated by a lack of results, Capt. Jim Stone of the Retriever decides to give up on the Northern fishing grounds.

Ep. 10 – The Final Run
With the deaths of the Big Valley crew, this Opelio crab season has been a rough one. As the last hours of the season tick down, a new race begins – the race back to port. Captains strategize and compete for the best spot in line to off-load.

Presented in full screen format.

Deadliest Catch: Season 2 DVD Set

Forty-foot waves, freezing temperatures and a nearly 100-percent injury rate. Crab fishing off the Alaskan coast on the icy Bering Sea is one of the world's most dangerous jobs. But it's also one of the most lucrative, offering tens of thousands of dollars for a few days' work. Follow one group of ambitious men as they battle harsh conditions and intense competition in the frenzied search for an undersea jackpot.

Heading Out to Sea
The start of king crab season in Dutch Harbor is usually cause for celebration, but with a massive storm moving in and the specter of last year's Big Valley tragedy still lingering, captains and crews are uneasy. Captain Hillstrand of the Time Bandit takes a gamble and leaves port on Friday, breaking one of the oldest fishing superstitions in the book.

Batten Down the Hatches
A rare, calm day on the Bering Sea is interrupted by reports of an approaching storm – boasting 50 mph winds and 30-foot waves. While Captain Hansen of the Northwestern wisely decides to wait out the weather on the small island of Amak, the Time Bandit's Captain Hillstrand elects to fish through the monster.

On the Crab
After a hide-and-seek run behind Amak Island to avoid a storm, the Northwestern is back on the crab grounds, pulling big pots and filling its holds – until a broken crane brings them to a halt. Meanwhile, the Time Bandit's Captain Hillstrand relishes his decision to leave early and brave the storm. He's already caught a boatload of crab and the Bandit is now the first boat in the fleet to offload at St. Paul Harbor.

The Finish Line
Captain Hansen and the Northwestern crew are finally pulling in a good amount of crab – but they're covered in barnacles, which means they're worth much less. Captain Corky Tilly of the Aleutian Ballad has a different kind of problem – one of his greenhorn deckhands can't hack it on the Bering Sea and has threatened to jump overboard.

Friends and Rivals
When a rogue wave knocks the Aleutian Ballad on its side, shutting down all power and the boat's engines, the crew must scramble in the dark to avoid disaster. Elsewhere on the crab grounds, Captain Sig and the crew of the Northwestern sabotage one of the Cornelia Marie's pots with an old pair of Sig's underwear – a practical joke that prompts an equally "trashy" response from Captain Harris and the men of the Marie.

A New Hunt Begins
January on the Bering Sea is usually a time of respite, a brief period when the crews return to port to prep their boats for the Opilio crab portion of the season. While boats like the Maverick refresh their supplies, the Time Bandit heads out in the middle of the season's first big snowstorm to get a jump on the competition. Meanwhile, Captain Sig instructs his crew to get ready for a marathon stretch of Cod fishing – before heading straight into the Opilio season.

Smoke on the Water
As an arctic storm presses further into the crab grounds, the fishing gets tougher. The Time Bandit is low on bait and too far north to head back for more. Plus, there's a new obstacle: the encroaching arctic ice pack. With temperatures barely above zero, the Rollo and the Maverick drop their pots in turbulent seas, and the Cornelia Marie remains stuck in port for a third, agonizing day.

Man Versus Ice
Hopes for a quick Opilio season fade as heavy sea spray ices down the fleet, turning the race for crab into a slow crawl. Poor results and long days fray nerves, causing fights on the Maverick and Rollo. The trailblazing Time Bandit crew keeps pressing north into the arctic onslaught. Meanwhile, Sig Hansen takes a short nap from the Northwestern's cod-fishing marathon – and the boat soon drifts off course.

On the Edge
The Time Bandit finally encounters the ice pack and discovers that it's much closer to their gear than expected. While the Rollo fishes through gnarly weather nearby, the entire crew of the Maverick endures a ship-wide flu epidemic. Elsewhere, the Cornelia Marie has little luck finding Opilio and instead catches tons of Tanner. Captain Sig and the Northwestern crew finish up their cod season and Deckboss Edgar Hansen becomes a new father.

Pribilof Stare
Freezing weather and severe icing continue to make life at sea miserable. The icy decks of the Cornelia Marie claim their first victim when Deckhand Dave Gilbert takes a nasty spill. Captain Andy Hillstrand of the Time Bandit navigates the northern ice pack, through the Pribilof islands, and the ship's deckhands are forced to take breaks from fishing to remove thousands of pounds of icy buildup from every inch of steel. On the Maverick, fishing comes to a standstill when the crew attempts to fix a shattered stiff arm.

Race Against the Ice
After a heavy offload on St. Paul Island, the Rollo heads back to the crab grounds for a final haul. As they steam out, Captain Eric chastises his crew – because of poor counting on deck, they offloaded almost 40,000 more pounds of crab than they were permitted. Captain Andy Hillstrand and the Time Bandit crew are still battling the ice pack on the northern edge of the crab grounds. If they don't haul their gear and catch their crab fast enough, their Special Forces tactics (first in, first out) might not pay off in the end.

Cashing In
It's the end of the season and everyone is eager to wrap up operations. After one final push, the Opilio fleet plugs the holds, stacks the pots and heads for port. While the fishing has come to an end, the dangers of the Bering Sea persist. With full holds and iced-over decks full of pots, each boat risks tipping over while steaming back to port. Back home in Seattle, the wives and children of the Northwestern crew wait with nervous anticipation. In the end, a teary-eyed reunion on the docks is the perfect way to cap off this long, bitterly cold, crab-fishing season.

Deadliest Catch: Season 5 DVD Set

Deadliest Catch takes you deep into the world of the Bering Sea --as we follow seven vessels and their crews through the most brutal fishing seasons on the planet - Red King Crab and Opilio Crab. Forty-foot waves, hurricane winds, sleep deprivation, and operating heavy machinery on a pitching deck, are just a few reasons the injury rate is one hundred percent. The rugged Adventurers who fish these waters are the real draw. Crabbers have the mindset of pirates - high risk for high reward - and putting life and limb on the line is just part of the job.

The crabbing season kicks off in October. Captain Sig Hansen, a 30-year veteran and a third generation fisherman, will match his skills against his old rivals, Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie, the Hillstrand brothers of the Time Bandit, and Captain Keith Colburn of the Wizard. The fleet will push hundreds of miles out to sea and fish four hundred feet deep in search of the prized crustaceans. The captains will strategize, and the crews will be pushed to their limits of mental and physical endurance as they repeatedly drop and haul the 700-pound crab pots. Before the season is out, the men will face down huge storms, severe injury, a ticking clock --and each other-- to bring in the King crab harvest.

Three new boats join the fray. The 78-ft Lisa Marie, the smallest boat in the fleet, will battle waves that seem to swallow the vessel. Aboard the Incentive, a team of old salts can't find the crab. While on the Trailblazer, a crew is haunted by a near-fatal incident from a few years ago -- when a man went overboard only to be narrowly saved by Capt. Jonathan Hillstrand.

Deadliest Catch: Season 7 + Exclusive After The Catch Footage DVD

In the far northern reaches of the planet a rare breed of extreme fishermen hunt the Bering Sea. Adventure is their call, crab is their prey, and a one hundred million dollar plunder is their reward. Skippers and their crews endure boat killing storms and body crushing working conditions - risking it all on the search for crab. In the end, they will all come to the realization that the most violent storms come from within.

This year, two new skippers join the veteran fleet and battle lines are drawn. Aging warriors, Captain Sig Hansen, on the Northwestern, the Hillstrand brothers on the Time Bandit, Skipper Bill on the Kodiak, and Captain Keith Colburn of the Wizard find their crab grounds invaded by 36 year old Scott Cambell aka "Junior" who helms the fast, powerful, Seabrooke and 28 year-old Elliot Neese, who runs a rusted, "floating frat-house" called The Ramblin' Rose. These cocky young skippers are determined to stake their claim to the Bering Sea crab bounty - but soon learn that "Old age and treachery" is a force to be reckoned with. The Cornelia Marie returns as well, but without legendary captain, Phil Harris.

Now, Phil's young, rebellious sons Jake and Josh Harris must ready the boat and set sail with a new skipper. Captain Derrick Ray must try to rally the boys and his crew, as they fish for the elusive blue king crab far north of the rest of the fleet.

Ep. 1) New Blood: The 2010 King crab season begins with an infusion of fresh blood into the Bering Sea crab fleet. Along with the return of our favorite veteran skippers - two new captains join the fray: 36-year-old Scott Campbell Jr., the hard charging, skipper of the sleek and powerful Seabrooke and 28-year-old first-time crabber, Elliot Neese, who helms the rusty and rowdy Ramblin' Rose. Following the death of their father Phil, brothers Josh and Jake Harris are back to keep the family fishing legacy alive - but soon find themselves tested by Derrick Ray, the Cornelia Marie's new skipper. Seasoned crews aboard the Northwestern, Time Bandit and Wizard battle heavy seas to get to their favorite hunting grounds, but arrive to hear the gut-wrenching sound of a mayday - signaling a crewman stricken on a nearby vessel.

Ep. 2) Proving Grounds: Across the Bering Sea crab fleet, bad fishing causes high tensions and low morale as empty pots whittle away profits and nerves among the men. Hoping to resurrect the storied fishing success of the Cornelia Marie, the Harris brothers and new skipper Derrick Ray pull their first strings of the season, but find nothing but barren waters and marauding sand fleas. The strikeout rekindles hostility between captain Derrick and engineer Steve Ward. On the Northwestern, ambitious deckhand Jake Anderson gets a chance to briefly operate the boat, but has to face some personal demons in the wheelhouse. Up-and-coming boats Seabrooke and Ramblin' Rose experience polar opposites of fishing fortune on the grounds: one hits it big while the other misses completely. On the Wizard, volatile captain Keith Colburn reaches a boiling point when his crew fails to follow his orders.

Ep. 3) Old Age and Treachery: Bad fishing afflicts much of the fleet in the third week of the King crab season. Veteran boats and tested skippers struggle to find their precious cargo as bad pots turn to blank pots. On the Wizard, danger strikes when a crewmember gets caught in a line. On the Seabrooke, Scott "Jr." Campbell defies the fishing odds by pulling up full pots, but a bitter, jealous deck boss, mars his triumph. On the Cornelia Marie, Jake Harris gets a sink-or-swim lesson in driving a crab boat, and steers the crew toward their biggest pots of the season - but a rift with captain Derrick Ray deepens in the process. Lastly, aboard the Ramblin' Rose, freshman skipper Elliott Neese realizes that all of his hard fought crab bounty could die in the tanks unless he makes a difficult choice.

Ep. 4) Breaking Point : It's a time of reckoning as new and different challenges descend on the crab fleet halfway through their season. A greenhorn from Idaho onboard the Seabrooke gets a rude awakening when faced with the physical and mental rigors of crab fishing. First-time skipper Elliott Neese makes a rookie mistake that costs him and the crew of the Ramblin' Rose dearly during the first offload of his young career. Frustrated by the low crab count, Josh Harris confronts Skipper Derrick Ray only to get shut down by a sprawling arctic storm. The brutal weather forces everyone onboard the Cornelia Marie to put aside their differences and run for cover. Deckhand Jake Anderson gets another crack at making big decisions for the Northwestern when he's offered the chance to strategize a town soak. And over on the Kodiak, Skipper 'Wild Bill' Wichrowski must contend with a broken crane that forces his crew to push the heavy pots, causing one deckhand to go down after a bad fall on deck.

Ep.5) A Wing and a Prayer: Bad luck finds the fleet in the latter half of the King crab season. On the Northwestern, the boat suffers a near-miss at port before bad fishing sparks a vicious fight between deckboss Edgar Hansen and deckhand Jake Anderson. The crew of the Wizard finds the source of the bad mojo aboard the boat and tosses it over the side, hoping to improve their fortunes. Captain Johnathan Hillstrand on the Time Bandit takes a massive gamble on barren grounds to find crab, while the greenhorn aboard the Seabrooke goes into a tailspin, leaving skipper Scott "Jr." Campbell in a bind.

As an added bonus, this DVD contains exclusive footage of the show, After The Catch!
